I'm surprised by your colour choices, actually. I wasn't expecting an autumn scheme. The fog makes the image seem a bit... swampy? I dunno. All the blue seems to be about the same sort of shade, which perhaps detracts from the image as a whole?

I don't know. I like the COLOURS of the leaves, although autumn surprised me. Perhaps you could consider using some reds? I really like the deer, too.

This colour-work also made me appreciate how well-drawn the flowers in the foreground are, too.

Very nice, Ben. The colors are looking great!

On second thought, I hope this doesn't strike you as being too harsh. I definitely don't mean it as such! :)

Ooh, I really like the scene!

Well, make no mistakes, or switch off my channel/Armani rips when I fly off the handle.

I got two turntables and a microphone.

The Spring palette's looking a lot nicer. It gives the ground that sort of 'faerie circle' feeling. It makes the Entwife herself look blonde, too... ;)

The flowers at the front look a lot better, too. And the pine needles in the left margin seem to go better with the spring scheme. Seems you're onto a winner! :)

I'm wondering if it might be an idea to make the deer slightly darker? I was looking at this picture of Red Deer and thinking. That's down to you, though. Depends whether it distracts too much from the image.
